ADIDAS x PABLO VITTAR
Adidas embarked on a groundbreaking partnership with the Brazilian star Pabllo Vittar, now a global icon as one of the most renowned drag queens. She became the first drag queen to ever perform in a live music festival (Coachella, United States). However, in her home country, Pabllo has been an icon of the LGBTQIA2S+ culture for over a decade, representing and empowering the community through her art and activism.
Pabllo is also the first Latin American artist to co-create a global collection with adidas. The adidas x Pabllo Vittar Pride collaboration is not just about fashion, it’s a statement of inclusivity and empowerment.
Inspired by Brazilian swimwear, the collection was designed to adjust to diverse body shapes, celebrating the power of individuality and the strength of unity.
It’s all about feeling powerful in your skin, bringing your whole and authentic self, and celebrating individuality. It’s all about realising that LOVE UNITES. and I had the honor of contributing to the Pabllo Vittar collaboration, designing the footwear collection. Our goal was to apply the graphic across all silhouettes, creating a harmonious visual connection. We also incorporated LOVE UNITES into each piece, reinforcing the collection’s message. Every color and material was thoughtfully selected to represent what we stand for—bringing a new, bold interpretation of the rainbow.
ADIDAS x LIBERTY LONDON
Bringing vibrant blooms to the city streets, the adidas Originals x Liberty London collection is born from contrasts. Liberty London’s famous prints are reimagined on iconic adidas products, creating a seamless blend of urban energy and floral elegance. At the heart of this collaboration lies a shared passion for discovery, as both brands merge their distinctive identities to create a collection that’s fresh, bold, and timeless.
I had the pleasure of working on this collaboration, which I enjoyed immensely, bringing creativity to every stage of the process. From developing the color theme for the prints—liberated by Liberty—to designing the tissue paper and refining every single detail, every element was thoughtfully considered to create a cohesive and elevated collection.
For this special collaboration, we developed a unique jacquard from scratch in close collaboration with the materials team. I carefully selected every material and color to align with the essence of the collection, ensuring that each element enhanced the overall aesthetic.
The collection features Liberty London’s renowned botanical designs, including the intricate Margaret Day print, the playful Manuela Meadow, and the elegant Garden Jazz, all showcased on some of the adidas Originals’ most iconic silhouettes. Florals pop on the sides, framed by contrasting colors that highlight the vibrant patterns, while soft nubuck overlays on the premium upper elevate the overall luxe feel.
It was a pleasure to work with the Liberty team on the footwear side, creating a true synergy between footwear, apparel and their team. The addition of their iconic prints to our shoes was the perfect combination, offering a fresh graphic take-down that feels modern yet timeless with saturated pop aesthetic.
