F50 World Cup 2026

This special edition brings back one of adidas Football's most iconic silhouettes: the F50. Reimagined for the 2026 World Cup, the concept celebrates the boot's legacy while introducing a bold new perspective.

The design draws inspiration from the iconic animal-print football boots that defined an era, reinterpreting them through a contemporary lens. Animal patterns are combined with reimagined football textures RP’s and performance-inspired detailing, creating a modern expression that pays tribute to the past while looking toward the future.

INSPIRATION & CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT

Traditional rugs carry deep cultural significance, with each colour and motif telling its own story. Inspired by their rich patterns and the interplay of vibrant and neutral tones, I translated this heritage into a contemporary footwear concept.

APPLICATION TO SILHOUETTES

I adapted the graphic across multiple footwear styles, giving each silhouette its own identity while creating a cohesive collection. Different colourways allowed the concept to evolve across forms without losing its original character.

MATERIAL & TEXTILE INNOVATION

Working closely with the materials team, I developed a bespoke jacquard fabric from scratch. Combining matte and shiny yarns created a subtle contrast in texture and finish, bringing depth to the graphic. The textile was produced in multiple colourways to complement the collection.

Crochet Pack

A pack born from a desire to reconnect with the handmade, inspired by traditional crochet. We developed a chunky knit upper paired with soft suedes and semi-translucent gum outsoles, in an earthy palette of clay, sand, sun, sky blue and olive that evokes long Mediterranean summer days.

Adifom × Atmos Japan

PRODUCT (3)

For this project, we created an exclusive release for Atmos Japan, winterizing our iconic Adifom silhouette. To achieve this, we applied the material directly to the upper, which required multiple trials with reinforcements, lamination, and structural support. Additionally, we developed a new sockliner using fleece material to enhance comfort and create a cozier look.

The silhouette was very well received by both the account and the markets, and as a result, we plan to introduce this execution into the inline range in upcoming seasons.

Archive Premium

I worked on the concept, drawing on our archives to explore heritage-driven colorways for the Campus 80s and Samba. We paired neutral tones with metallic accents, using nubuck and suede and a yellow outsole for an aged, vintage feel. Special packaging completed the story.

Monogram

This material was a full-on exploration. Developed from scratch in close collaboration with our materials team. The goal was to create a non-seasonal graphic with a premium aesthetic and tactile appeal. We wanted something that could transcend trends but still feel rich and intentional.

After testing a few directions, we landed on a jacquard construction, combining shiny and matte yarns to bring contrast and depth to the surface. The interplay of luster and texture gave it a dynamic, elevated look that translated beautifully across multiple franchises and product elements. It not only looked premium. It felt premium too.

Exploring AI in Footwear Design

In 2024, I ran an off-season project exploring how AI tools can support the early stages of footwear design. I tested AI for trend research, interior shop creations, material development and new silhouettes. It opened up new ways of approaching concepts and showed the value of AI as a tool for creativity.
